1. This video explains the process of setting the code.
2. The default code is 000. To change the existing code you must make sure it is in place and you can open the door freely.
3. First open the door and you will see a small metal tab on the back side of the lock. Move this from position A to B.
4. Now close the door, but do not close down the latch.
5. Set your 3 digit code.
6. Open the door and move the metal tab back from position B to A
7. You have now set your code.
8. Always remember to move the number dials after closing the product and please be aware you are responsible for your code.
9. We recommend saving it in your phone or sending it to a trusted friend or family member
10. You are now ready to start using your Lockabox, you can change your code as many times as you wish, just remember to not forget or lose your code!

We are sorry to hear you’ve lost or forgotten your code.
Due to the nature of the 3 digit combination lock there is no ‘master code’, if the code is lost/forgotten the only way to find access to the contents of the box is to go through all the possible combinations from 000 – 999, this takes roughly 15 minutes.

We are sorry to hear you’re experiencing problems with the lock tab.
This is likely due to the lock tab on the back of the lock being a little sticky. This does happen on occasion.
We suggest using something thin and flat between your thumb and the lock tab to apply additional pressure to free the movement.
Once this is done the first time, the operation should be smooth and easy from then on. (A copper coin usually helps to leverage the lock across.)

Just to confirm:
Are the dials on the three digit combination lock lined up correctly? Sometimes if these are nudges it wont allow the box to open.
Have you changed the code recently? If the dials were not lined up when setting the code this may cause the lock to malfunction and prevent you from accessing the contents of the box.
Have you forgotten or lost your code? If you’re unsure of your code there is only one way to reset it. Unfortunately, due to Lockabox One being a secure product, any ‘quick fix’ would invalidate the security. The solution to this issue takes roughly 15 minutes (often less) and requires working through all possible combinations from 000-999. This really isn’t as daunting as it sounds!
If you have never set your code! The default code is 000 if you haven’t reset the code it will need to be on this to make the bar move and allow you to reset it.
